YEAR-END REFLECTIONS AND THE JOY OF CHRISTMAS DECORATING

As 2025 comes to an end, it feels like the right moment to pause and reflect on the year as a whole.

A year of interesting projects and constant learning that helped clarify my approach to interior design and home decorating. It wasn’t about doing more, it was about being more deliberate in how I work and what I focus on.

2025 IN A FEW WORDS

2025 had its own rhythm, with space to focus on the kind of work I truly enjoy. Throughout the year, decorating remained at the center of my creative process, working with color, textures, and small details that make a space feel warm and personal.

I’m genuinely grateful to everyone who trusted me with their homes this year. Being invited into personal, lived-in spaces, especially during meaningful moments like Christmas, is something I never take lightly.

CHRISTMAS DECORATING AS A CREATIVE PLAYGROUND

Seasonal decorating naturally found its place in my work, a time when color, texture, light, and small details could take the lead without overthinking things too much.

Decorating for Christmas feels like a simple design exercise: choosing a palette, mixing materials, and playing with contrast and proportion, all in a way that feels festive but still balanced.

What I love most about Christmas decor is that it allows room for play. It doesn’t have to be perfect or permanent. It’s about creating a space that feels inviting for a short but special time of the year. Each detail is a reminder that decorating can be joyful, intuitive, and full of personality and that’s something I want to do more of.

LOOKING AHEAD

Looking ahead, I’m excited to continue doing what I enjoy most: decorating with intention and letting color and intuition guide the process. Whether it’s seasonal decor or everyday interiors, I enjoy working with small details that shape the overall atmosphere. It’s these details that make a space feel lived in and personal.

Thank you to those who invited me into their homes this year. Here’s to more meaningful interiors in 2026.
